Whitehead Removal - The Two Best Methods for Whitehead Removal

So how can you get rid of whiteheads? What are the best natural remedies for whitehead removal?

Dead skin and oil clogging the pores are how the bumps under the skin we call whiteheads form. They are similar to blackheads but differ because blackheads have an opening in the pores which oxidizes giving that blackened colour.

So how do we remove whiteheads? The best method of whitehead removal is to open up the pore and clean them out.

Whitehead Removal Method 1:

Throw a towel over your head and hold your face over a bowl of steaming water for two minutes to soften the whiteheads in the pores.
Gently press down with two fingers on the surrounding skin so the whitehead can be easily removed using a sterilized whitehead remover.
After the removal thoroughly wash your face using antibacterial soap to prevent infection. Finally apply Tee Tree oil which has natural antibacterial properties.

Whitehead Removal Method 2:

Potatoes are a brilliant natural method for whitehead removal. Certain properties of the potato act to help break down the oil inside clogged pores and the slightly grainy texture of the potato acts as a soft exfoliant.
There are two ways of doing this:

a) Mash the potato and extract the juice to clean your face directly. Wash afterwards with clean water.

b) Cut the potato in half and using the flat edge rub it on the infected areas containing whiteheads. Repeat on a daily basis.

Using these two methods will help you achieve clear healthy skin.
